In 1910 Corrie went to Bible school. She studied for 2 years. In 1920 she passed her Bible School exam, but in that time her mother died. After school she began to train as a watchmaker, like her father. Corrie was the first woman to qualify as a watchmaker in Holland. From 1921-1940 Corrie ran the Haarlem Girls clubs. Corrie always had a burden for children especially girls. The clubs were for girls ages 12-18. They did things like gymnastics, music, walking, and camping(Corrie ten Boom).
