They were taken to Schvengenin, a prison near Holland. This was the last time they saw their dad, because he died the next day. Corrie's father died when he was 84. After they were put in cells it was discovered that Corrie was very sick  and was taken to the prison hospital. The nurse at the hospital gave her a pack of things that she hid in her coat. The pack contained of a toothbrush, a bar of soap and the four Gospels. The nurse said she was not well enough to go back to her prison cell but the police sent her back anyay. She soon regained her strength. The prison cell only contained of a straw mattress, the things she had in her pack and no heat. She got 2 meals a day, a plate of porridge in the morning and a slice of black bread in the evening. She lived this way for four months(Corrie ten Boom).

Corrie had wondered what had happened to the rest of her family but she knew  nothing. One day the prisoners were all told to pack up their things and get on the train. While they were waiting to bored the train she caught a glimpse of her sister Betsie. Soon she had made her way over to her sister and they were together again. The train took them to the Vught Concentration camp. In the camp the Lord helped Corrie and Betsie retain their witness for him(Corrie ten Boom). Even though they were in a camp that was crawling with fleas, and was oppressed with evil, they were still able to lead desperate souls to Christ(Christian History Institute). The gaurds would not go into the barracks because of the fleas.  So Corrie and Betsie thanked God for the fleas everynight(Corrie ten Boom).
